Globalisation in 10-20 years XIIA6-34

Globalisation affects every aspect of life. Globalisation means development of era where there seems to be no boundaries among countries. Each country experiences different kind of changes which include: technology, communication, employement, education, and economy. To these aspects, globalisation has brought some benefits and drawbacks. Which can influence the future development. Related to that, people need to start adapting themselves to be able to survive in the globalization era. 

First of all, globalisation has caused a rapid development in technology. Everyday technology experiences some improvement to ease human life. For example, a mobile phone used to be utilised only for making a phone call. However, a mobile phone has become the main tool for working. From this change, it is possible that a mobile phone will be the main equipment for the daily work and also for entertainments in the future. As a mobile phone user, I need to be familiar with every function of a mobile phone by learning the use of mobile phone features and increase my knowledge about mobile phone functions. Thus, in the next 10 to 20 years, I will be able to survive using the more modern mobile devices. 

 In the future, human beings will access the electronic devices in their surrounding by using mobile phones. For example, turning on or turning off television, air conditioner, screen projector, and even fan can be done by a single touch on a mobile phone. Therefore, in the future more and more new features will be attached in the mobile phone. This will happen mostly in developed countries followed by developing ones. Another example can be seen in the house facilities of developed and developing countries. In some countries, houses have more modern features such as digital lock system of a house door. Unfortunately, this particular system has not been used in Indonesia. Because of the frequent use of this system in modern houses overseas, I can predict that this system will be adopted by Indonesia to the future modern houses. Because of that, we should start adopting this technology and learn how to create the same or even more modern technology for the household appliances to prepare ourself to fight in the globalize era. People need to be familiar with the newly released electronic devices used in the houses, in order not to be left behind during the third world era. I will study harder and I will read more informations related to modern devices to help me understand and predict the function of the new coming house devices. 

Moreover, communication is also affected by globalisation. Globalisation shows that with the improvement of a technology use in communication, countries seem borderless and are always connected to each other. Several benefits of the development of communications include easy interaction to people all around the world. For example, we can talk to a person eventhough to people from  miles away by either phone call, video call, or by a text message. And also with the invention of internet, people can access information from different sources. Besides, they can communicate with lots of people around the globe. Eventually this will help us to build wider network and friendship. I believe that this situation will continue untill the next 10-20 years from now. Even, the communication technology will develop more rapidly providing more easy access for the people. Therefore, as an educated person, I must also develop simultanously with the development of a communication technology. It is really been official for me to start understanding every IT development that is taking place at the moment. Therefore, by the next 10-20 years, I will not be clueless about technology anymore.  If I understand the majority function of modern mobile phone, I will be able to use it for working instead of relying on a pc or even a laptop.

Moreover, technology also helps to increase the opportunity of jobs hunting. Globalisation means that people can search job vacancies through technology via internet. It is possible that people look for jobs outside their home countries. As a young generation, I must compete with other people to have a job either in my home country or overseas.  In addition, I must not only rely on the job providers to hire me, but I must be able to learn how to create jobs for people. Therefore, I need to learn how to create my own business and understand how an enterpreneur is able to provide jobs for the people as earn profits. By doing this, I will be able to improve my financial condition, the other people economy condition, and country economy situation. Thus, as students, we should learn not only the subjects we get in the school, but also improve and enrich our knowledge which can benefit our future and other people.
